Your First Body Contouring Session: What to Expect at dé Beauty Spa
Body contouring is one of the most popular services at dé Beauty Spa — and one of the most misunderstood. If you've been curious but unsure what actually happens during a session, this post is for you. Chardé walks you through the full process so you can book with complete confidence.
What Is Non-Invasive Body Contouring?
Non-invasive body contouring uses advanced technology — radio frequency, ultrasonic cavitation, wood therapy, and more — to target stubborn fat, tighten loose skin, and sculpt and tone the body without surgery, needles, or downtime.
At dé Beauty Spa, Chardé uses the newest fat reduction and body toning devices available to deliver real, visible results that are tailored to your specific goals and body type.
Step 1: Your Consultation
Every session at dé Beauty Spa starts with a quick conversation. Chardé will ask about your goals, the areas you want to focus on, and any relevant health history. This is how she determines the right combination of treatments for your body — because what works best for one person isn't always the same for another. There are no cookie-cutter plans here.
Step 2: The Treatment
Depending on your goals, Chardé may use one or more of the following treatments:
Ultrasonic Cavitation
Low-frequency ultrasound waves break down fat cells, which your body then naturally flushes out over the following days.
RF (Radio Frequency) Body Contouring
Controlled heat energy tightens skin and stimulates collagen production for a firmer, more toned appearance.
Wood Therapy
Specialized wooden tools are used to break down fat deposits and cellulite while sculpting the body's natural contours.
Vacuum Therapy
Stimulates circulation and lymphatic drainage to lift and smooth the skin. Often used as a finishing or add-on treatment.
Step 3: Aftercare
After your session, Chardé will give you specific aftercare guidance based on what was done. In general:
- •
Drink at least 8 glasses of water the day of and after your session — this helps your body flush out broken-down fat cells
- •
Avoid heavy meals and alcohol for 24 hours if possible
- •
Light cardio (walking, light exercise) helps activate your lymphatic system and enhance results
- •
Wear a compression garment if recommended for your treatment area
When Will I See Results?
Some clients notice a visible difference after their very first session — especially a reduction in puffiness and a slight improvement in skin firmness. More significant sculpting results typically build over a series of sessions, with most clients seeing their best results after 6 sessions.
Consistency is key. Results are cumulative, which is why dé Beauty Spa offers multi-session packages and flexible payment plans to make your transformation as accessible as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does body contouring hurt?
Most clients describe it as comfortable — some treatments have a warm sensation (RF), while others feel like a buzzing vibration (ultrasonic cavitation). Nothing should be painful. Chardé checks in throughout to make sure you're comfortable.
How many sessions do I need to see results?
Many clients notice a difference after 1–3 sessions, but a series of 6 sessions typically delivers the most visible, lasting results. It depends on your goals and the treatment area.
Is there any downtime?
No downtime required. You can return to your normal activities right after your session. Some clients experience mild redness or warmth in the treated area for a few hours — that's completely normal.
How is this different from surgery?
Body contouring at dé Beauty Spa is 100% non-invasive — no needles, no anesthesia, no recovery time. It's designed to tone, sculpt, and tighten, not replace surgical procedures.
